Photo Tour of Our Room at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort

This past weekend I had the privilege of spending a few nights at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.  Coronado is a Moderate Resort and the rate with our Florida resident discount was around $167 a night with tax included.  The resort has three distinct areas: the Casitas, Cabanas and Ranchos all situated around a 22-acre lake.  Our room was on the 2nd floor of the Ranchos and was a corner room.  Check it out!

  • Aww, this made me a little bit homesick! You know Coronado is our favorite place to stay at Disney. The rooms are great, the layout wonderful, and the pool (with waterslide) is epic. It never feels crowded, even when it's really full.

  • and it was really full last weekend with a Granger Convention. We had to park one of the vehicles on the grass one night

Thanks for the pics! My family and I will be there in exactly 2 weeks from today! Really looking forward to it as it will be our first time staying at that resort. I'm curious if you had a chance to check out any of the dining options? We went out of our way and tried Pepper Market on our last trip and fell in love with it. Looking forward to trying the Maya grill this time.

  • Love Pepper Market. Especially the desserts. Have done Maya Grill many many moons ago and enjoyed it. Enjoy your visit!

Thank you! I've wondered what they look like. The rooms look beautiful.
We often eat at Maya Grill during our vacations but have yet to stay at Coronado Springs. I LOVE strolling the grounds at this resort. The kids love it too.

  • I know they have given the rooms a face lift. Looks like they kept the original tile in the bathrooms which was a tad bit out-of-place but overall the room was nice

We are going with 4 year old and one year old. Is there any particular area that we should request to stay in.?Have all of the rooms been redone? Read some recent reviews that have not been great..glad to see that you were happy there.

  • Hey Marti. We were in the Ranchos Building 6E, so if you can request that building you should be fine. The building is closest to the Dig Site Pool but is a bit of a walk to the main building with the restaurants. There is a bus stop near by there as well as a quiet pool. I do not know which buildings have or have not been refurbished. I've stayed in the Ranchos and the Cabanas and I loved it. I did NOT like staying in the Casitas however.
