Disney Releases Seven 2011 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival Recipe Videos

Scallop

ScallopEpcot’s International Food and Wine Festival is an official holiday season in my book.  I look forward to it more than I do Christmas and even Halloween.  And as a Walt Disney World local, I have the ability to sip and stroll around World Showcase as many times as my pocketbook will allow during this magical time of the year.

It is because of this love for the festival that I am extremely excited to share these new Food and Wine Festival videos that Disney Parks has produced.  All of the following items will be available in a few weeks when the festival starts and I am determined to try every single one of them.

Let’s start with my favorite food group…Mexican! lol..well…it’s a food group to me.  I eat it several times a week

These tacos are my favorite menu item at La Hacienda de San Angel at Epcot’s Mexico Pavilion.  They will be available at the festival’s Mexico Booth.

Martinis are my second choice of libation after craft beer.  Had a fab Red Velvet Cupcake Martini this year at the Hilton Bonnet Creek Cupcake Lovers Weekend.  I can’t wait to try this one…available at the festival’s Poland booth.

Yet another fan favorite in the Tinney household!  Sushi! From California Grill to Kimonos to Kona, we love noshing sushi at Walt Disney World!  Try out this “completely cooked” sushi roll at the festival’s Japan booth.

Desserts abound at the Epcot Food & Wine Festival.  In fact, you can find a dessert option at almost every booth around World Showcase.  Sample this sweet treat at the festival’s Germany booth.

Man do these wings look good! These would make a good contender to go head to head with the sticky wings served at Kona Cafe in the Polynesian Resort! Try this spicier version at the festival’s Caribbean booth.

These lamb chops remind me of some of the most decadent chops I’ve ever tasted on Walt Disney World property. It was in the Hilton Bonnet Creek Resort at La Luce and I wanted to steal my husband’s plate of meat! Granted it was veal instead of lamb, but it was divine! Try these lamb chops at the festival’s Australia booth.

Last, but certainly not least is a mainstay of the Epcot Food and Wine Festival…and rightly so. These pot stickers are delicious and I could drink the sauce that is served with em. Stop by the festival’s China booth and get you some!

The 2011 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival runs September 30th-November13. I hope to see you there!
