Against the backdrop of a sunset on the Seven Sea Lagoon March 31, 2015, Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Vacation Club opened the doors to the newest resort in the DVC family – Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.
The dedication ceremony featured a Samoan fire dancer, Polynesian drummers and torch-bearers representing the three points of the Polynesian Triangle. The three torches lit a fourth torch in officially opening the newest lodging, part of an overall re-imagination of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

The over-the-water bungalows will set you back $2,100 for one night! My friend Zannaland has a fantastic post with photos of the new accommodations. You can see those photos here: Disney’s Polynesian Village Changes the Face of a Walt Disney World Vacation
They are forcing the lower and middle class out of staying here. SAD !!!!!!!!!!!
