5 Unexpected Places You'll Need Huggies Little Swimmers at the Walt Disney World Resort

Walt Disney World is located smack dab in the middle of the Sunshine State. Florida is known for its warm weather and as such there are several themed resort pools and two water parks offered as options to cool down for guests vacationing in the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Huggies® Little Swimmers are a perfect option when taking your preschooler into a resort pool or floating around at Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach water park. These swim diapers are made with an absorbent material that won’t swell in the water, have stretchy sides for a great fit and are adorned with Disney’s Finding Dory characters.

Walt Disney World’s water parks and pools are obvious places where Huggies® Little Swimmers come in handy. Here are five unexpected place in the Walt Disney World Resort where you might also wish you had a few Huggies® Little Swimmers on hand.

If you’ve been to Walt Disney World before you may be familiar with the signage “You May Get Wet”. These signs are posted on water rides to give guests a head’s up about the possibility of a sprinkle or two. Some of the water rides have height requirements, which your preschooler may or may not meet yet. But some are available to children of any height. An example of such a ride is Pirates of the Caribbean in the Magic Kingdom.

Pirates of the Caribbean is an attraction which takes passengers on a flat bottomed boat ride through an epic pirate adventure. There’s a single 14 foot plunge that culminates in a mild splash. I’ve stayed completely dry on this ride and have also gotten up with my bum a tad bit wet.

Another ride at the Walt Disney World Resort where you will get wet is Kali River Rapids in Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park. This rafting expedition in the heart of Asia has a height restriction of 38″. I have never exited Kali River Rapids dry. In fact, I’ve always exited the ride fully cooled off…if you catch my “drift”.

Splash Pads & Water Features

Disney Imagineers took into consideration the Florida sunshine when designing the Walt Disney World theme parks. This consideration comes in the form of air conditioned queue lines, multiple water fountain locations and surprise splash stations and water features.

Recently, Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom underwent a massive transformation. This transformation included the addition of an area called Storybook Circus. Inside Storybook Circus is a little nugget called Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station. This attraction is a circus themed water play zone where your child will get wet.

Magic Kingdom also houses splash pads in Adventureland. It’s here where you’ll find Liki Tikis and a Spitting Camel. Both water features are located around the perimeter of The Magic Carpets of Aladdin. The Liki Tikis are a gathering of six tikis of varying heights that spontaneously leak sprays of water onto unsuspecting guests. Same goes for the large golden spitting camel. If your toddler spends an extended amount of time splish splashing at these features, there’s a chance they will get soaking wet.

You can also find two designated Splash Pads at Epcot. The first is near Mission Space and Test Track and the second is on the walkway in between Future World and World Showcase. And if you are looking for something outside of the Walt Disney World theme parks, there is another huge splash feature at Disney Springs.

All of these unexpected water areas can be better enjoyed with the help of Huggies® Little Swimmers which are available at BJ’s Wholesale. My girlfriend is bringing her one year old down for his first Walt Disney World vacation next month so I picked up a box of 25 which came with a bonus pack of wipes for $12.99.
