My daughter makes a cameo near the end of the video. You see a girl with curls placing a medal on a runner (that’s my friend Aurora) then you see another blond curly haired girl in the background with her hair in a hat holding medals. That’s my daughter. She is turning 14 in January and will finally be old enough to participate in her very first runDisney half marathon with me (we will actually be running 2 that month). SO EXCITED and proud of her for that! This was the race weekend that started it all for me. While I had run Disney 5K’s before this, handing out half and full finishers medals to the athletes as a VoluntEAR really made me want to complete a longer endurance run myself. Now I’ve got three half marathons under my belt and I am going to complete my first full runDisney marathon in January with my friends by my side.
