Bay Lake Tower is to Disney, as Rolls Royce is to Motor Cars. So it should be no surprise, that when I got an invite by my good friend Rick Howard to take a tour of a Grand Villa and the Top of the World Lounge at the Contemporary’s newest DVC Resort, Bay Lake Tower, I jumped at the chance.
Bay Lake Tower is a new concept for Disney. It is the first resort property at Walt Disney World that is only accessible to the guests who are staying there, and as such may not be experienced by just anyone. There is an exclusive lounge on the 16th Floor of the resort that is only accessible to Disney Vacation Club members and their guests. The lounge offers unparalleled views of the Magic Kingdom and the nighttime fireworks show Wishes.
I shot some photos, but nothing compares to the professional video tour that Rick is about to take you on:
This is the video I shot and it gives some views of the entrance, views from the Grand Villa, and the tour of the Top of the World Lounge…
Until Next Time,
