The Disney Shoe Round-Up

Disney Fitflop Mickey IconWhen you live in Florida you tend to be obsessed with the flip flop. If we ever get the pleasure to meet in person…you will find me in a pair of these magical shoes.  I’ve been on a bit of a Disney Shoe Picture Taking Tangent as of late (what can I say? I’m a woman. We like our shoes. Right ladies?) and I thought that I’d share some of the pictures with you. Starting with the Disney Fit Flop. Notice the sensor tag…these shoes are EXPENSIVE!

If you’ve never heard of fitflops…their slogan is “Get a Workout While You Walk”.  Hmmm. Who made up this slogan…the Master of the Obvious. Of course you will get a workout while you walk. Anywho these shoes are touted as the footwear with the gym built in. FitFlop footwear is biomechanically engineered to help tone and tighten your leg muscles while you walk in them. I get enough of a workout walking around the parks as it is in my REEF flip flops. If you’re interested in picking up these “gym in a shoe” thongs…I found them at the Port Orleans French Quarter gift shop. And now…on with the shoe…er um…show…

    i am having flip flop envy…i have 4 new pairs so far this summer…i wish there was a disney store around here for me to partake in those shoes!! i buy a pair every trip down there, not always a flip flop, but a disney shoe, alwas my fave souvenir!

    I love Fit Flops, and I really want a pair of the Mickey ones. Though I never feel I can justify the purchase since I have a perfectly good pair of black Fit Flops, though sadly Mickey-less.
    For me I have a lot of trouble with shoes because I have knee pain to begin with and some shoes just make that worse. The Fit Flops though leave me with less knee pain, though I think they do work you out a bit more than just walking because I end up twice as sore.
    Also I can't wait to move to Florida so I can just wear flip flops all year round I hate having to switch shoes in the winter.

    On our last trip to WDW, my shoes broke and I ended up having to get new ones on site. I picked up those teal gladiator-type sandals. They are SO comfy and cute! I highly recommend those. :)

    I have Mickey Crocs flops that I picked up in Disneyland last month. I love them! But those Mickey FitFlops are super cute – I'll have to pick them up in August (conveniently we'll be staying at POFQ)!

    i love the 2nd to last pair and the minnie pair!! i hope those come in adult sizes – i'd so pick those up! we've got a few pairs of mickey crocs laying around the house somewhere

    So many of the shoes look cute, but not very practical for walking around Disney ;) I do not own any Disney shoes, but my mother does. When we were in Disney last May, she hurt her foot very badly. She saw the Mickey Crocs and although quite pricey thought they would work nicely. She fell in love with them. Since coming home we have bought her a few more pair that she wears with Mickey almost daily.

    Oh my god! I love this post and can't wait to buy more Disney shoes on my next trip. I have two pairs of Mickey Crocs in different styles and can honestly say that I have worn one of the pairs at least once a day since I bought them over a year ago. I think I may have to look for the fit flops!

    The first three shoes looks like gladiator sandals. The designs are cute and I hope it is comfortable to wear.
