Do You Know About the “Other” Royal Tea Experience at the Walt Disney World Resort?

The "Other" Royal Tea Experience at the Walt Disney World Resort - DisneyEveryDay.com

Sure we all know that you can experience afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian’s Garden View Tea Room. But getting in can be difficult. The hostesses usually look at me as if I have a third eye when I try and get a walk-up reservation for tea there.

Did you know there is another place inside the gates of Walt Disney World where you can experience afternoon tea? And it’s just as luxurious, if not more, than tea at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.

That “other” place is the Waldorf Astoria Orlando Resort. And Royal Tea is served inside Peacock Alley on Sundays from 3-5pm.

Reservations are recommended here but are not required.  The tea setup is very similar to the Grand Floridian tea and has comparable offerings.

Tea sandwiches and pastries abound and you can add on a glass of champagne to make it a “Grand Tea”.
