Merida, the heroine from Disney Pixar’s “Brave,” leads a royal procession May 11, 2013 from Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom after a celebration welcoming her to the Disney Princess Royal Court.

Merida is crowned a Disney Princess by her mother Queen Elinor. Gymnastics gold medalist Gabby Douglas (second from right) and her mother Natalie Hawkins (right) hosted the regal celebration.
