Florida Resident Discount Tickets to La Nouba Will Save Guests 35 Percent

La Nouba transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary! Behold a stunning performance designed to stimulate your imagination and senses with daring acrobatics, dazzling choreography and unique characters—exclusively in Downtown Disney West Side at Walt Disney World Resort.

La NoubaFlorida residents can save 35% on Category 2 tickets, good for Tuesday through Saturday performances from July 31 to August 25, 2012.

Tickets and seating subject to availability. Proof of Florida residency and advance purchase required. Florida Residents can purchase tickets up to 30 days prior to the show dates. Tickets will be available for pickup at the La Nouba Box Office Will Call window. Please arrive a minimum of 30 minutes prior to show time. Offer is not valid for previously purchased tickets, gift certificates or with any other discounts.

Remember When – A Disney Song Sung in Pictures by Fans for Fans

After some coaxing from my friends Shaene and Marc we are going to dust off the ole Disney Song Sung in Pictures and attempt to bring Disney’s “Remember When” to life from a fan’s perspective. Captain EO Pre Show, Merchandise, and a Message From Dan Cockerell

Captain EO Sign WDWYesterday was the Cast Member and Media Preview of the return of Captain EO to Epcot’s Magic Eye Theater.  To say I was overwhelmed with excitement is an understatement. Being the EPCOT Center geek that I am, I had been anticipating this day since the announcement was made that Michael would be coming home to the Imagination Pavilion.  I thought back over the films that I had seen at this very same theater as a child…Magic Journeys (If only I could grab that golden ring on the carousel)…Captain EO…and then Honey I Shrunk the Audience. The greatest of these, of course, was Captain EO.

There was a small merchandise cart set up outside of the Journey Into Imagination pavilion where a few promotional items were being sold. I was hoping for some small PVC figures or plush from days gone by…but alas…Hooter, Fuzzball and Major Domo were nowhere to be found. Here’s what was available…

And lets not forget to mention the employee apparel…as I approached the theater I was welcomed by cast members in their hot-off-the-presses Captain EO costumes

I was shocked to find out that “the original” Captain EO sign…which had been hanging in an office for the past 16 years…was hung outside the entrance to the theater.

Additionally, the original pre-show was aired in the holding area adjacent to the theater…

The anticipation builds….



Dan Cockerell, Vice-President of Epcot,  asked the audience how many of them would be viewing Captian EO for the very first time and surprisingly about half of the audience raised their hands. Here’s Dan Cockerell’s warm up speech before the very first showing here at the Walt Disney World Resort…

…and rather than tell you how fantastic Michael Jackson and crew were in the triumphant return of Captain EO to the magic Eye Theater, let me show you…
