Do You Think This Will Make a Good Addition to the Park?
I promised you a detailed look into Cars Land‘s Radiator Springs Racers attraction at Disney California Adventure and today I’m here to deliver on that promise. When you enter under this archway you are IN Ornament Valley!
The theming is unbelievable here. And you are completely immersed. You can’t see any other attractions in the queue line. You are completely transported into “Cars“.

This attraction was one of the many highlights of our last trip to Disneyland. The technology that the ride is built on is a lot like the Test Track attraction at Epcot in Walt Disney World and while many say that Test Track has no direction…no story…it’s California counterpart has a rich immersive one.
Special thanks goes out to Disneyland PR for free admission for myself and my family into Disney California Adventure. All Disney geek opinions are my own and I was not required to write this post.
You know you’re going to want to get your photo snapped with the coolest cats from Disney’s upcoming flick “Monsters University” and you can find the two superstars, Mike and Sulley, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

This morning Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts kicked off a Monstrous Summer by giving guests the chance to spend 24 magical hours inside three Disney theme parks.

The event features special entertainment, Monsters-themed merchandise and frightening food and boo-verages – one scary good time!
In Florida, the festivities at the Magic Kingdom started at 6 a.m. ET with characters Mike Wazowski and best pal James P. Sullivan (“Sulley”) from the upcoming Disney•Pixar comedy adventure Monsters University joining other beloved Disney characters to help open the park with a Monstrous moment. In California, Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park guests were treated to fireworks and live entertainment signaling the 6 a.m. PT opening. Fans hit up the dance floor at Disneyland Park. Disney California Adventure weighed in with the freshly-built Monsters University “dorms” in Hollywoodland and a new Monsters University-themed float leading the Pixar Play Parade.
