Gaylord Palms Resort Orlando Reveals 2011 ICE! Theme

GP-SHREK-ICE-2011-CHARACTERS-STANDARD-sThis weekend I attended a special unveiling ceremony for ICE! 2011 at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando, Florida right outside the gates of Walt Disney World.

Some of you may remember last years ICE! theme of “Twas the Night Before Christmas”.  This year’s theme is going to be “Shrek the Halls”.  The DreamWorks theme will be continued throughout the resort with the new DreamWorks Experience (more on that in a future post)

Lots of DreamWorks Christmas time fun can be had along with your tour of ICE! when you book a room at the Gaylord Palms.  Kids can decorate gingerbread with “Gingy”.  There will be a special DreamWorks welcome package along with character Meet and Greets.  Families can also enjoy a 3D Dinner and DreamWorks Movie Experience as well as scavenger hunts!  You can even wake up your little ones with special character Wake Up Calls!

Check out the beautiful artist renderings for the “Shrek the Halls” displays…
