Last weekend my family and I spent two glorious nights in a suite at Gaylord Palms Resort here in Orlando. I was staying as part of the DreamWorks Experience which amongst many other things, included unlimited visits to ICE! What’s ICE! you ask? It’s a frozen wonderland hand-carved by 40 artisans from Harbin, China – the ice-sculpting capital of the world. The sculptures and ice slides are crafted from 2 million pounds of ice which have to be kept at a chilly 9 degrees.
Let me tell you, the DreamWorks Experience is a holiday vacation you can ONLY experience at the Gaylord Palms Resort. No other resort in Orlando can even come close!
I have lots more to share with you concerning my stay but for now let’s take a tour of this year’s ICE! Featuring DreamWorks’ “Merry Madagascar”….

Where else in Central Florida can you take your kids to go ice sliding?

Scenes from around the world surround the ice slides…

My dad with the butter Sphinx…just kidding…it’s ice

I like ta move it, move it!

My favorite piece was this cascading tropical waterfall!

And along with the whimsy…ICE! always ends with a traditional goodbye kiss…

For more info on ICE! and the DreamWorks Experience visit GaylordPalms.com or call 407-586-0000. The resort is located at 6000 W Osceola Parkway, Kissimmee, FL 34746…literally bordering the Walt Disney World Resort.
If you already have a vacation scheduled at Walt Disney World from now until January 1st, this would make a GREAT add-on experience to your Disney vacation. While you’re there be sure to tour the resort. You’ll be amazed by grounds!
Special thanks goes out to the Gaylord Palms Resort for complementary entry into ICE. I was not required to write this post. All opinions are my own.
