Another Teaser Photo from Under the Sea – Journey of The Little Mermaid in New Fantasyland
Located in Magic Kingdom, Prince Eric’s Castle is home to Ariel and her friends in Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid. This new attraction will take guests through beautifully rendered scenes featuring classic songs from the popular animated feature film. The attraction is part of New Fantasyland which will hold its Grand Opening on December 6th, 2012 at Walt Disney World Resort.

Details and Date Set for the Disney Fantasyland Expansion Passholder Preview
Passholders! Mark your calendars! Beginning at noon EST on October 8th Monday, October 15th you’ll be able to sign up to attend a preview on November 3rd, 10th or 11th, 2012!
In order to attend you must be a valid Walt Disney World Passholder at the time of event. You may register up to eight (8) Walt Disney World Passholders (valid Passholder ID required per Guest).
You can experience one of the following itineraries during your Passholder Preview:
- Enchanted Tales With Belle Itinerary, which lets you:
- Take a tour of Be Our Guest Restaurant
- Ride on Under the Sea — Journey of the Little Mermaid
- Experience Enchanted Tales with Belle
- The Ariel’s Grotto Itinerary, which lets you:
- Take a tour of Be Our Guest Restaurant

A Closer Look at Prince Eric’s Castle at Journey of the Little Mermaid in Fantasyland
How many castles can one theme park hold?
Located in Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort, Prince Eric’s castle is home to Ariel and her friends in Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid. This new attraction will take guests through beautifully rendered scenes featuring classic songs from the popular animated feature film. The attraction is part of New Fantasyland expansion, a multiyear project and the largest expansion in Magic Kingdom history. The grand opening of New Fantasyland is set for December 6th, 2012.

First Look at the Final Phase of Disney’s Art of Animation Resort “The Little Mermaid”
Guests are invited to slumber in Ariel’s colorful retreat at “The Little Mermaid” wing at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, opening September 15th at Walt Disney World Resort.
Themed to one of the most celebrated animated films of all time “The Little Mermaid” will feature 864 standard hotel rooms that can sleep up to four guests. With a sea-inspired color palette and an aquatic motif, guests become part of her world as they plunge “under the sea” into Ariel’s secret grotto. Playful film-inspired décor and characters from the undersea kingdom including Ursula, King Triton and Sebastian come to life both inside guestrooms and in the courtyard.
Guests can lounge poolside at the Flippin’ Fins pool, one of three pools at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.
The Little Mermaid opening completes the build-out of Disney’s Art of Animation Resort that includes, “Finding Nemo,” “Cars” and “The Lion King” family suites themed to beloved Disney Pixar animated features.
