First Look at the Concept Art for Disney’s Animated Feature Film “Frozen”

In “Frozen,” fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) teams up with extreme mountain man Kristoff and his sidekick reindeer on an epic journey, encountering mystical trolls, a funny snowman, Everest-like extremes and magic at every turn in a race to find Anna’s sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), the Snow Queen, and save their kingdom from eternal winter. Walt Disney Animation Studio’s comedy-adventure hits the big screen November 27, 2013, presented in Disney Digital 3D in select theaters.

How many castles can one theme park hold?

Located in Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort, Prince Eric’s castle is home to Ariel and her friends in Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid.   This new attraction will take guests through beautifully rendered scenes featuring classic songs from the popular animated feature film. The attraction is part of New Fantasyland expansion, a multiyear project and the largest expansion in Magic Kingdom history. The grand opening of New Fantasyland is set for December 6th, 2012.

Disney and HGTV to Bring Pet Cemetery Garden to 2012 Comic Con

san-diego-comic-con_internationalHGTV has collaborated with Disney to create a garden inspired by Tim Burton’s “Frankenweenie,” a stop-motion animated feature film that was filmed in black and white. The event will take place at Comic-Con International, the largest comic book and popular arts convention, where the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter lawn will be transformed into a 3,500 square-foot HGTV Electrifying Garden from July 12-14. Open to visitors between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. PT, the exhibit will showcase the beauty of black and white with more than 20 dark plants growing amid low-lying fog, pet tombstones and other striking oddities in the pet cemetery-themed garden.

Guests entering the garden will be enveloped in the ultimate Tim Burton fan experience as they wander the rolling hills and pathways of the New Holland Pet Cemetery – a key location in the film. Visitors to the exhibit can learn more about the plants featured in the garden; enjoy unique photo opportunities and other interactive elements.

Throughout the HGTV Electrifying Garden, guests also will have the opportunity to view custom content from “Frankenweenie” and collect pins, seed packets and other premium gifts from HGTV and Disney.

New Disney “Monsters University” Movie Image Released – Monster Disco

Synopsis – Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn’t stand each other. “Monsters University” unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends.

Screaming with laughter and fun, “Monsters University” is directed by Dan Scanlon (“Cars,” “Mater and the Ghostlight,” “Tracy”) and produced by Kori Rae (“Up,” “The Incredibles,” “Monsters, Inc.”). The film opens in U.S. theaters on June 21st, 2013, and will be shown in Disney Digital 3D in select theaters.

· “Monsters, Inc.,” originally released on November 2, 2001, was nominated for four Oscars®: Best Animated Feature Film, Best Original Score, Best Sound Editing and Best Original Song—“If I Didn’t Have You,” for which it won.

· “Monsters University” will hit U.S. theaters nearly 12 years after the “Monsters, Inc.” theatrical debut.

· Billy Crystal and John Goodman reprise their roles in the prequel as the wise-cracking Mike Wazowski and lovable Sulley.

· “Monsters University” features a host of new faces and a few returning favorites from “Monsters, Inc.”
