Report from Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2010 at the Magic Kingdom

Disney Happy haunts Start hereHave you ever wondered if it was really worth it to pay extra to get into one of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties? I am asked that quite often and my answer is always a BIG FAT YES!

This past week, some friends and I attended the Media Preview for MNSSHP. “In September!” you ask?! Yepper. The parties have already started and the earlier parties are…how can I put this…”Dead”(pun intended). That’s right folks attendance is LOW at the earlier parties. When else can you walk onto Space Mountain or ride Splash Mountain over and over again in the same flume without exiting?!!  If you can’t make it to one of the September parties…have no fear. I have attended the party on Halloween Night and the lines are still reasonable as only an allotted amount of tickets are sold for each date.

Some other reasons to attend…

  • FREE Face painting!
  • Special Boo To You Halloween Parade
  • Watching the Headless Horseman lead the parade
  • Event Exclusive Fireworks Show Hallowishes
  • Haunted Mansion Cast Members are frightfully made-up
  • Event Exclusive Ghost heckler on the Haunted Mansion Lawn
  • Ghostly quartet will serenade you in Liberty Square
  • Event Exclusive Pins and merchandise
