Mickey Moms Club Presents A Disney Party in a Big Red Box

Mickey Moms ClubUnbeknownst to me, there is something out there called the Mickey Moms Club.  I am assuming that some of you reading this right now might be scratching your head.  And then there are those of you, those that applied to be on the Disney Moms Panel, that are screaming at their screens right now…”Tinney…I know what the Mickey Moms Club is!”

Yep…that’s right…Disney formed a special Club exclusive to those Disney enthusiasts who applied to be on the Disney Moms Panel.  Who knew? Not me…maybe I should have applied.  Oh bother… One person who did apply and make it onto the Disney Moms Panel is my homegirl Suzannah DiMarzio.  She did a write-up on the Mickey Moms Club at her blog Zannaland that you should read. And random fact…she also designed the header for this very blog you’re reading. Multi talented gal ain’t she?

On with the story shall we… On the last day of the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration I was lucky enough to be awarded this Mickey Moms Club “Disney Party In a Box” Prize and was told that it would be mailed to me. Woot! And today…Mr. FedEx Man pulled into the driveway with a big red Disney box! Oh joy and rapture!

    Oh my goodness. . . this looks more amazing than when we saw it at DisneySMMoms. I can not wait for Mr. FedEx Truck to show up at my house soon :)

    Well I applied but knew nothing about this club. I tried to log in and my e-mail/pw didn't work. I tried to get to the forget password page, it didn't want to load, then didn't load fully, then when I put in my info, it just reloaded the page. Still haven't received it. I then went back in and use my disney username/pw and received this message:
    Sorry, you've reached the members-only Mickey Moms Club. Entry is restricted to members who qualified through application for the Walt Disney World® Moms Panel. Though new membership is currently closed, registration will open to the public in the future. Stay tuned!

    So………. I guess not EVERYONE who applied also made it into the mom's club. Disappointing :(

    Hey LB, if you check at the bottom of the page there should be a “guest services” link (just checked, here it is: http://home.disney.go.com/guestservices/) if you follow the links there you should be able to contact technical support and tell them your issue – they'll be able to get you logged in. :) It happens every so often with such a huge amount of email addresses associated with the site, but everyone I've heard that has contacted support for this reason has gotten it resolved. :)

    Good luck and let me know if it doesn't work.

    I love that you posted pictures of everything because I didn't open all of my little bags and goodies! ;)

    And, wow, I just looked at that post you linked – that seems like a lifetime ago!! You totally need to apply so you can get into the MMC at the very least!! :D

    Darn it girl! You already got your box? I was just thinking about the box today and wondering when we might get it.

    I'm a member of the MMC, and it's a neat little club, but not much interaction from and with it….

    This is pretty much the same box I got last year for the Mickey Moms Club party. I think it was in the spring.

    Anyway, I became a member of the Moms Club when I applied for the first Moms Panel. Three years later, I'm still a member and I haven't applied for the panel again.

    I was able to make some kids VERY happy with the goodies in that box!

    Cool, I am a Mickey Moms Club member but have not received that nice big red box. Wish I had!!! It looks like a lot to print out online and you don'r get all the goodies either. It would be so much fun to have a party like that!!

    The hilarious part is that for some reason, I didn't open the pictures when we had our party. I was looking through some of the things left in the box about two months later when I discovered them!!!

    What a great surprise to get delivered to your door!
    I've been in the MickeyMomsClub since its inception. I loved the Illuminations party last August that just happened to fall at a time when we were there! I feel so lucky to have been able to be a part of it and my family had such a great time. My youngest still talks about the endless amount of Mickey Ice Cream Bars available. He only ate one but he loves to tell everyone how many he was free to eat if he wanted to!
    I wonder if this beautiful red box is going out to every MickeyMom or just select ones? I haven't received any mailings from them since my initial introduction mailing with the big magnet and stickers. The website doesn't seem to be updated very often but I still log in and check it from time to time. I think I'll go do it now!
    Congrats on the box! Hope to see one up close…I'm crossing my fingers!

    Hi LuckyMum. This was a prize that I won at the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration last month. I am not a Mickey Moms Club Member nor a Disney Moms Panelist. I think that there were a few of these left over from a previous promo and they were given as door prizes at the event.

    receive an answer back. I'd give it 2 weeks from when you first contacted,
    then try again. I'm sorry I don't have any direct emails for you, wish I

    I am a member of the Mickey Mom's Club! I have been since it's inception and it's been really wonderful! We get quarterly emails with helpful tips and stories and the site is full of useful information to use or pass on to other that need vaction planning advice.

    Wish I made the panel though!!!

    Hi – I'm a member of the Disney Mom's Club – and I also got the email about my receiving this 'big red box.' We are heading back to Disney World in a little less than 1 month – and I can't wait to get this great gift and host my own party….

    I cant wait to get mine!! I love planning vacations for people to go to Disney World. I actually have a family there now that used me…. I cant wait to have all of these extra goodies. Now I just wish I could get the Mickey Mom's Club bumber sticker, shirt, bag, and mouse pad that I have heard other moms talk about. :( The Mickey Mom's Club is the next best thing to the panel… I am happy to be a member!!

    Disney runs through all of our veins. I have 5 small children and that is a huge part of our life. We love to make new plans for Disney. We go atleast once a year. We have been there 3 times in the last 18 months. What a great and different time everytime we go! Disney is the BEST!
