Do you trim a real or artificial Tree at Christmastime?
The chefs at Disney’s Contemporary Resort trimmed a Gingerbread Tree this year…in icing that is.

A very large tree! Here’s a shot of it from the monorail platform.

The tree’s design was inspired by renowned artist Mary Blair and is positioned in from of another one of her works…the mural on the Contemporary Resort’s center column.

Touches of Mary’s ‘it’s a small world’ characters appear at the base of the tree.

…and there are even small world cookies that can be purchased, but which look too good to eat.

The Chef Mickey Ornament Cookies look ‘nom nom’ as well.

Yes…even this creation comes complete with a Hidden Mickey…

The Cast Member entrance to the Holiday Display Counter got a special edible treatment as well!

Here’s the recipe if you feel like taking on the challenge at home this year. =P

Until Next Time,
