Gardens of Canada in Epcot's World Showcase

“If there is no gardener, there is no garden.” – Stephen Covey First Things First

Do you love to wander through a garden?  Disney is full of gardens and beautiful landscaping.  When asked why I blog, I sometimes have a hard time answering.  I read this quote today and had an “aha” moment.  Blogs are like beautiful gardens on the vista of the internet.

I never thought of myself as much of a gardener in real life and I definitely do not have a ‘green thumb’.  From here on out, I’m going to consider myself a gardener, and Disney Every Day as a digital garden in which I’m “painting the roses red” for you. If the saying holds true that you reap what you sow, I will try as hard as I possibly can to sow something fantastic every day for you!

How many types of gardens are there?  Gardens are unique by their very nature, and they are all so very different. Just as bloggers and blog readers are all very different.  Some gardens are full of vibrant flowers.  Some may have sculpted hedges and topiaries.  There are gardens made solely out of rocks and sand and those dedicated solely to butterflies.  Another one I particularly love is a beer garden. =) Gardens can be configured in many different ways and consist of different things, but that doesn’t make one any less beautiful than the other.  Each gardener brings something new to the table and each unique space can bring a different feeling to the beholder.

A garden can bring joy to both the gardener and to the ones in the garden.  It’s fulfilling to create something of value that will be appreciated for years to come…however, what good would a garden be if it there were no one there to appreciate it?  I appreciate all of you taking the time to come and sit for a while in this Disney Garden. I hope that you enjoy what I plant here.

Until Next Time,

P.S. While we’re on the subject…Here’s a video I hope you will enjoy of the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival.

To question whether there is a gardener or not ? We are all just ornaments in the ultimate garden. The garden created by the master of all gardeners. Some of us are blessed with talents that provide others to see and enjoy things of beauty and wonders they would not without a little help from some of us. I for one enjoy my walks through your garden to see what new seeds have been planted since my last visit. Just remember we all are part of one amazing garden and we were all once nothing more than seeds. Fortunately seeds grown into things of nourishment , beauty . Unfortunately some grow into weeds. Obviously we have been blessed to come from gardens that have been cared for and loved . There is definately a Gardener.
  • WoW Tommy...One of the most poetic things I have ever heard! Let me know if you want to guest blog for me sometime! Much love and adoration!!!

Thanks Amanda , sometimes I get inspired when I am not even expecting to be. The gardener was interesting for me to ponder. Thanks for the compilment and the invite. Maybe someday it would be fun even though I am not really a blogger. I do love to share though and have lots of opinions on many things LOL . Knowlege of your Magic Kingdom is very limited though. Thats why I follow you .

    Aloha , Tiki Tommy
