Goodbye Pardon Our Pixie Dust, Hello Stanley

“Pardon Our Pixie Dust”. You’ve seen it…you hate it. It means that there is something at Walt Disney World that you won’t be experiencing. The phrase has become so well known that it has been memorialized in metal on an official Disney pin.
It looks as though “Pardon Our Pixie Dust” has come to the end of an era as Disney obtains an official sponsor for its construction signage. That’s right folks even the construction dividers have a sponsor these days…now if only we could get one for the Wonders of Life pavilion (grrr!)
While taking photos of the Cantina de San Angel construction operations just outside the Mexico Pavilion, I noticed some new signs on the tall divider walls. And upon further inspection saw that the signs had been sponsored by Stanley…the tool company. The signs are actually pretty cool as they each depict a quote from the man…the myth…the legend, Mr. Walter Elias Disney.

This was the only sign that seemed to escape the Stanley branding…

And if you would like to take a peek at the new construction, feast your eyes on these…

Construction lesson of the day… Question: What do you call the yellow things floating in the water? Answer: They are called diapers and they keep the construction debris from floating out into the lake.

I’m going to leave you with this stunning view of the sunset across World Showcase Lagoon.

Until Next Time,
