FREE Soda at Walt Disney World!
Have you discovered this spot? You know…the one to go to for as much free soda as your belly will hold inside the Walt Disney World Resort…
It’s one of the best hidden gems and its tucked away inside of Disney’s Epcot Theme Park. It’s Club Cool! (formerly Ice Station Cool) Club Cool is a great place to hang out and cool off when touring in Florida’s often sweltering heat. And who doesn’t like a free soda right?
The Club Cool attraction is sponsored by Coca-Cola and it jives with the whole World Showcase Theme by featuring sodas from around the world. These are sodas that you would otherwise not be able to sample unless visiting abroad.
The interior of the club is decorated pretty funky and there are several self-serve soda kiosks dispensing fizzy goodness!
What’s on Tap at Club Cool
Tap #1 – Krest Ginger Ale (Mozambique) – Ginger has long been used as a medicinal herb throughout Africa, so it is not surprising that Krest Ginger Ale is a popular drink in Mozambique.
Word on the Street – Nope…it doesn’t taste like toothpaste. This one tastes just like a good ole’ fashioned Ginger Ale

Tap #2 – Fanta Kolita (Costa Rica) – Fanta Kolita captures the essence of two Costa Rican traditional drinks. Aqua dulce, which translates to ’sweet water’, is sugar cane dissolved in water. Frescas are mixes of crushed fruit and water.
Word on the Street – The Fantanas might ask you if you “Wanna’ Fanta”? This drink tastes like a strawberry fizz punch. YUM!
Tap #3 – Beverly (Italy) – Beverly, with its bitter flavor, is a popular non-alcoholic aperitif that stimulates the appetite before dinner.
Word on the Street – This tastes like it was made from the water that Luigi and Guido used after cleaning the floor of Casa Della Tires in Radiator Springs. Beverly and I have played many a joke on first-time guests that I have brought to Club Cool. (to all my Italian viewers…I bow to you for forgiveness!)
Tap #4 – Mezzo Mix (Germany) – Germans often mix their beer with non-alcoholic beverages, like Mezzo Mix, a combination of Coca-Cola and orange flavoring, to enhance the flavor.
Word on the Street – If you like orange soda you will think this one is a winner!
Tap #5 – VegitaBeta (Japan) – In Japan, the interest in healthy consumption finds its ultimate expression in “Health” vending machines that dispense vitamin drinks like VegitaBeta.
Word on the Street – Parents are always looking for ways to get kids to eat their vegetables. Looks like Japan has cracked the code on this one.
Tap #6 – Kinley (Israel) – Historical records from the 12th Century reveal that a drink made of Lemons, water and honey was popular among Genghis Khan’s thirsty warriors.
Word on the Street – It’s a sweet lemonaide’y’ ginger ale’ish’ cross breed!
Tap #7 – Manzana Lift (Mexico) -Water flavored with fruit juices is a traditional thirst quencher in Mexico. The Spanish name for these drinks, Aquas Frescas, means fresh water. They are made by combining iced water with crushed fruit and sugar.
Word on the Street – A sweet bubbly apple koolaide.
Tap #8 – Smart Watermelon (China) – The Chinese produce 40% of the world’s watermelon crop and consume millions of watermelons each summer.
Word on the Street – This is one of the best sodas on tap. Tastes like a carbonated liquid Watermelon Jolly Rancher candy.
Club Cool is located in Epcot’s Future World beside the Fountain of Nations and opposite Mouse Gears. Go get yourself a free soda the next time you’re there and let me know which one is your favorite!
