Favorite One-Liner Quotes from our Favorite Disney Feature Films
My daughter has been on a Cars kick lately. By that, I mean she has been watching the Disney/Pixar movie over and over again. And she just so happens to watch it in the same room where I type this blog. It’s hard to concentrate on creative writing with this kind of distraction and I find myself glancing over my shoulder… often. If I glance over too many times, that’s it!… I’m officially sucked in!!! Mater! It’s Mater that does it to me! That country twang is irresistible. I L.O.V.E. Larry the Cable Guy! No one is funnier!
Bit-o-Larry History: Larry was a local celebrity here in the Orlando area before he joined the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. He would do bits on a local station, Real Radio 104.1, during the morning and afternoon commutes to work and I was a fan even back then.
So…sometimes the daughter doesn’t quite make it to the end of the movie and the next time she throws the DVD in, it will start up from the beginning. I have heard the first thirty minutes or so, so many times, that I could probably recite every line. But one line in particular stands out and I have caught myself quoting it. “Fly Away Stanley! Be Free!”
I posted the quote in my Twitter Timeline & on my Facebook Wall and had several of my friends quote their favorite Disney Movie One Liners. I thought that I would post them here:
