Last year we reported that Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer would be reprising roles as Tonto and The Lone Ranger in a Disney adaptation. Current news on the film is that it is slated for a May 31st, 2013 release. It will be a Gore Verbinski Jerry Bruckheimer film.
