    Took my family to see Oceans at Disney's El Capitan Theatre yesterday afternoon. They had a pre-show from the Wildlife Learning Center showcasing some very bizarre but amazing animals from around the world that they have rescued. They took questions from the audience members (mostly from the children) and my son was especially thrilled with getting to ask about the way they rescue their animals. The movie was breathtakingly beautiful and I think I said “wow” out loud about a hundred times! I was amazed – both at the strange and wonderful creatures that live in our oceans and the awesome way that they were filmed for this movie. Loved loved loved the scene with the mama walrus and her baby. The whole theatre let out a collective “ahhhh!” Yes – go see it!

    I usually avoid films about nature. If there are any scenes where animals are hunted, harmed, or die I am a blubbering basket case.
