Deadline reports that Disney and MARVEL will release “Guardians of the Galaxy” as a live action summer blockbuster in August of 2014.  This news comes on the heels of the reports that the first animated MARVEL full length feature film is to be “Big Hero 6“.  It’s rumored that Thanos, the purple character in the final scene of “Marvel’s The Avengers“, will do battle with the “Guardians of the Galaxy” which consist of Adam Warlock, Drax The Destroyer, Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, and Phyla-Vell/Quasar.
