Disney Channel Stars Promote Disney Friends For Change Project Green

Hey everyone! If you follow me on Twitter and/or Facebook you might have noticed that I just got back from the very first Disney Social Media Mom’s Celebration here at Walt Disney World.  It was a whirlwind trip and I have so much FUN stuff to share with you!

One of the opportunities that we were privileged to participate in was a massive volunteer project right here in the heart of Walt Disney World’s Epcot Theme Park.

As part of the Disney Friends for Change Project Green, we volunteers, got to hob knob with some of the biggest Disney Channel Stars while giving back to the planet by planting around 350 oak trees.  These trees will become a part of the 2010 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival.  The kids who participated were given special swag including “Friends for Change” aprons, hats and water bottles. My daughter was even able to get autographed pictures of each of the stars there that day. Take a look at the photos.
