You know? CMs tell me that all the animals were moved to DAK, but I often wonder if the island is rotting away much like the old water park at FW....meaning all the old cages, etc. As for the island itself, it looks it has been allowed to go back to an almost-original vegetation state, which I'm sure is great for the native wildlife. I believe in the late 80's we visited there for the last time. When I went to Disney World on our honeymoon it was already extinct.
