While at a recent preview for Summer Nightastic, I was able to take a walk down Memory Lane. Not only did I get to see my beloved Main Street Electrical Parade…In addition, the “now closed” Diamond Horseshoe was used as the Media Hospitality Center. I hadn’t been inside this building since I was in elementary school! Foggy memories came rushing back to me about this now defunct Wild West attraction. The only time day guests can glimpse a piece of this Disney landmark is during peak season when the building is used as a quick service restaurant.
I stepped inside for a quick second this past April while the Spring Break crowds were in full effect. It still looks the same as I remember…

Here’s the menu that was being offered back in April…

The Diamond Horseshoe Restaurant Menu
Of course this month, at the media event, we weren’t offered the full menu…only ice cream, soda and bottled water (but who’s complaining). Here are some more detailed pics of the saloon. Sorry…iPhone doesn’t have a flash so they may be a tad bit grainy…

What are your memories of The Diamond Horseshoe Review?
Until Next Time,

P.S. While we’re walking down Memory Lane…Do you remember Disney’s Discovery Island?
