Christmas ‘Island Style’ at the Polynesian Resort in Walt Disney World
“Mele Kalikimaka is the thing to say on a bright Hawaiian Christmas Day.” – Bing Crosby
It may not be Hawaii, but the Polynesian Resort at Walt Disney World is definitely extending Christmas Greetings from the ‘land where palm trees sway’.
Welcome to the Polynesian Resort at Christmastime!

Large wreaths have been hung on the exterior of the resort to welcome you ‘home for the holidays’.

The Grand Garden entryway has been adorned with swagged boat oars…

The trees and wreaths are decorated with all things ‘green and bright’, from natural foliage…

…and citrus inspired bulbs…

…to orchids and gourds…

To mini drums…

…and native beaded ornaments.

The interior garden has been planted with layers of beautiful red poinsettias and vibrant bromeliads.

Notice the beautiful blown glass flowered bulbs, thatched balls, and Bird of Paradise on this piece…

This wreath was hung outside of Ohana’s on the second floor…

As Bing would say, “Mele Kalikimaka is Hawaii’s way to say Merry Christmas to you!”
Merry Christmas Everyone!
Until Next Time,
