Captain EO Returns Home to Epcot on July 2nd 2010

Captain EOAs a child who grew up in Central Florida and saw the opening of E.P.C.O.T. Center, nothing makes me more happy than the news that my beloved Captain EO is returning home to Walt Disney World this July!!!  Ah yes…It makes me think back to the days when the word Hooter actually did not instill visions of…..chicken wings people! Get your minds out of the gutter…and Angelica Huston was then my current age now.  I did a little digging and found this video. It’s great to see Disney guests dressed in their 80’s garb and to recognize the theater that now houses Honey I Shrunk the Audience.

So come… take a walk with me if you will, down memory lane, as we experience Captain EO in The Magic Eye Theatre…

Until Next Time,

    your site is great
it's not easy being a disney fan here in europe, it feels a little lonely
your site covers absolutely everything, it's a dream come true (which is what disney is all about)
great that captain Eo is back at last, as well new “alice in wonderland 1951” merchandize

  • Wendy….thank you SO much! It means a lot to me that you would take the time to leave me a complement like that. =) I am so excited about Captain EO's return and will be going to EPCOT to see it in a few weeks. Will try and report on it here on the blog afterward…

I saw this when it originally appeared and just this past April. The special effects definitely look dated, but it was great to see Michael Jackson in 3D again and my kids loved it.
