Blair Family Hidden Mickey Mouse Mansion in Palm Bay Florida

Interesting Disney discovery on the internet today!  This is a Single-Family Home located at 4236 Hield Road Nw, Palm Bay, Florida, 32907. I’m am digging the hidden Mickey side profile pool in the rear of the property with the matching fountain in the front.  According to public record, the home, built in 1999, is approximately 4,772 square feet. The property has a lot size of 350,222 square feet, which is just over 10 acres.

The most interesting factoid is the last name of the owners.  Blair!  The same last name as the Disney Artist behind “it’s a small world” and the gigantic mural inside the Contemporary Resort….Mary Blair!  Who also created the concept art for Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Cinderella and Song of the South.  That’s right, the owners of this Mouse Mansion are Timothy D. and Johna Blair.  Coincidence?  I don’t know. Kin to the late Mrs. Mary Blair? Good question.

A little further investigating revealed some business registered to the Blairs at this address:

Unfortunately it looks as if maintenance on the home has been neglected as evidenced by this more recent aerial photo.  Note the green pool…

    If you go to the Google street view, you can see that the front gate of the property has a gate with Mickey Mouse on it. There must be a connection!

    If you search the adress with bing maps and look at it with the birdseye view you can see it much better. They also have a mickey on the gate and a mickey statue on the South side of the house. I can't see the toparies along the driveway clearly, but I bet they are Mickeys as well. Pretty cool.

    Matt…upon further inspection I also see a HUGE water slide on the rear of the lake as well as what looks to be a mini raceway in the rear of the property on the back side of the lake. Must also add that the front view of the home with the red roof looks spot on like the front of The Grand Floridian Resort at Walt Disney World.

    Sweet – Did miss in there or is it for sale? Wouldn't you love to visit?! And the ideas its got me now thinking of when I build a dream home… I LOVE the extended information you went into! That its a Blair house (not related to Blair Witch) and all the businesses… there's a story here…

    Thanks! And you're welcome! I had quite a bit of excitement when I found it and knew y'all would enjoy it just as much. Maybe YOU should interview them and get some updated photos of the house. I'm sure something has changed in the 2 yrs since the spaces article. I'd love to see the pool too!!!!

    My girlfriends mom owns this house her mother Johna is absolutley in love with mikey mouse it is a very awsome house and very fun to visit. It also has a go cart track at the back of the property and a wet and wild type slide. She frequently has field trips to the house for the kids at the daycare, its awsome seeing thoes kids glowing faces when they visit. When I was younger we would have long summer days having a blast just fishing, swimming, jumping on the lake trapolene, riding go carts and 4 wheelers, theres a never ending list of activities. But man is it hard to keep up on it, as I got older I would help her dad do yardwork. That was never ending also. They are great people and you mickey mouse lovers I could probably ask her if she would give a tour of it. If u have anymore questions i could probably answer them. And no they are not selling it.

    hey jess. its been forever since i was there. u should take pics of the inside for them. i wouldnt be surprised to see this on a disney channel or travel channel.

    Hey Jessica.. Thanks for the tip that you are no relation to Mary. She was a creative Disney artist and an integral part of a few of the attractions. No creeps or stalkers here. The community that hangs out here on this site are Disney Fans just like your family. I'm assuming this house belongs to your folks right? I live in Central Florida and would love a tour of the grounds so I can share with everyone if you can make that happen. Thanks….Amanda ºoº

    Wonder what happened to them I used to know these people some years back I’m really curious if anybody knows. The house was foreclosed and I saw it’s for sale on the Internet I think for $699,000!!!

    I saw this house last week..in and out. Cheaply built and the tackiest house I’ve ever been in. It would take thousands to just make it normal. It’s very much like a “crazy house”. I wouldn’t pay $100 K for this tacky dump.

    the house was not forclosed, the house was held as collateral for a business but it fell. all of u have wrong information and should speak to the owner before information., the business was turned over to debbie melendez to run and she sank it, therefore they took the house, “held for collateral”

    I built the pool heere and never got paid for it. They still owe me over 40,000.00 that I am sure I will never see

    Yeah probably not since the former owner got arrested in November for theft! Yikes. Not to mention all the other arrests prior to that. Funny that person said the house wasn’t foreclosed but I did a search for foreclosed houses and it came up. Just sayin’.

    The owner of this house, that is in foreclosure, Johna Blair, has a history of compulsive gambling, drug abuse and stalking. She owned several day care centers, taking care of children of mothers on public assitance. She
    used the welfare monies, to fly to Vegas, Missisippi and Atlantic City, to gamble non-stop., She purchased rental real estate she could not afford, then rented it to her employee’s and low income family’s and never paid the mortgages.. She has an ongoing prescription drug habit, that has lead to her defaulting on several million dollars of debt, owed to employee’s, contractors, banks, personal investors, Las Vegas Casino’s.. She has had several recent arrests and now criminal charges for fraud, boyfriend stalking, domestic violence and divorce… This woman is a bi-sextual sociopath and drug addict.. she is dangerous.. to persons she encounters and to
    her own family.. she needs to be incarcerated for her crimes and forced into drug and mental health treatments…

    The reason you didn’t get all of your $350,000 for the pool is because the pool never got finished.  You never got it inspected by the city and there’s a leak in the lazy river and the slide tears everybody’s bathing suits to pieces.  The house was paid for in cash, but I put it up for collateral for a business.
