2010 Wishes Dessert Party Menu at the Magic Kingdom
Last night I had the pleasure of attending the 2010 Wishes Dessert Party at the Magic Kingdom with my friends Charles, Vanessa and Aurora. The party began at 8 pm. We were all wristbanded and escorted to our reserved (and decorated) table. Although the party was sold out that night, it did not feel overcrowded and I was happy with our table assignment.
There was a designated Photopass Cast Member there throughout the night taking photos of party guests in front of Cinderella Castle which I thought was a nice touch.
As soon as we were let into the reserved Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station lower level seating area I saw guests bringing back plates full of desserts so we made our way over to the serving station. This was what my plate looked like after Round One…

Wishes Dessert Party Plate - Round 1
I loved the fact that I could try everything…if I didn’t like it…I would just stop eating and move on to the next delectable item.
Here are some shots of the dessert buffet:
In this shot we have (from left to right) fresh fruit… milk, white, & dark chocolate truffles …mandarin orange and kiwi tartlet …chocolate dipped strawberries …raspberry tartlet with pistachios …chocolate peanut butter tartlet …brownies and Chocolate chip cookies

In this shot we have rice krispie treats …fresh fruit …kiwi and mandarin orange tartlets …and assorted chocolate truffles

Followed up with glazed doughnut holes, pistachio creme brulee, and banana cream tartlets…

Moving right along… we have more banana cream tartlets, Mango Shooters (these were one of my favorite items), mini key lime pies, and berry tartlets…

This last buffet table shot contains the mini key lime pies, berry tartlets, cannolis, mini cupcakes, and what I was told was both white chocolate and milk chocolate cheesecake…however they both tasted more like a mousse…as I am not a fan of cheesecake.

Something that was absent from the dessert buffet, but that was added later during Round Two was Tiramisu. It’s the item in near the center of the plate below with the chocolate striped wafer, blueberry, and raspberry on top. It was delish!

We were also provided with unlimited iced tea, lemonade, water, coffee and milk. I was surprised to see that the dessert buffet was available throughout the Wishes fireworks show, although not all of the items were available as the night drew to a close.
All in all, I thought that the Wishes Dessert Party was a smashing success and definitely worth the price of admission which was $21.99 for adults and $11.99 for children 3-9 exclusive of Magic Kingdom admission.
